Award Amounts for DREAMS Scholarship
Scholarship awards are determined by the USG or TCSG college or university and are based on program requirements, a student’s unmet need and available allocated funds at eligible institutions.
The DREAMS Scholarship term award cannot exceed the student’s unmet financial need or $1,500, whichever is less.
Unmet Need = Cost of Attendance minus the Student Aid Index minus all other scholarship and grant aid.
Students can receive a DREAMS award during the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters provided they meet all eligibility requirements and have not received the maximum yearly amount of $3,000.
