Required Application for the DREAMS Scholarship
Students must have a current year Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file with GSFA and their institution.
- Complete the current year Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Required each year you intend to apply for the DREAMS Scholarship.
- Successfully complete any required FAFSA verification process with your college’s financial aid office.
Recommendations:

- Submit the annual FAFSA as early as possible; the earlier you apply, the earlier your college can determine your eligibility and awards.
- Complete the Financial Toolkit as early as possible.
- Complete your DREAMS Work Requirement and submit your documentation as early as possible for each term you wish to continue to qualify for DREAMS Scholarship.
Application Deadline
The application deadline is the last day of the school term or a student's withdrawal date, whichever occurs first.
Note: The eligible postsecondary institution determines eligibility and awards. The Institution has the authority to set additional application and eligibility requirements. Check your college’s website or with the financial aid office.
