Eligibility for the University of North Georgia ROTC Grant and the ROTC Grant for Future Officers
To be eligible for the UNG ROTC Grant and the ROTC Grant for Future Officers, you must:
- Be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident alien who meets the definition of an eligible non-citizen under Federal Title IV requirements;
- Be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at the UNG as a degree seeking student;
- Fully participate in the Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) at the UNG;
- Be a legal resident of Georgia;
- Be in compliance with Selective Service registration requirements;
- Maintain satisfactory academic progress, as defined by the college;
- Not be in default or owe a refund on a student financial aid program;
- Be in compliance with the Georgia Drug-Free Postsecondary Education Act of 1990, O.C.G.A. §20-1-20, et seq.
